About Clark Dever Photography:
Based in Buffalo, NY – Clark Dever started his photography studio in August 2009. Although a relatively new professional photographer, Clark has already distinguished himself and received international media attention for his work. His Photographs have been published on ABC World News Tonight, in Repubblica.it (The second largest newspaper in Italy), and also in nationally distributed magazine’s in China, Canada, and the United States.
Clark has quickly developed a reputation as one of the most sought after photographer in Buffalo, NY. His first breakthrough project was entitled “When the Financial Levees Broke” and featured images from Post-Katrina New Orleans juxtaposed to images from Post-Industrial Buffalo. This collection of images seemed to strike a very resounding chord with the local audience and received a variety of media coverage. Attendance during the opening night exceeded three hundred people, with hundreds more viewing his work during the week that followed.
The project that launched Clark’s career as a professional photographer and social media consultant was ”Twelve Hours in a City“. Dever and his friend developed the idea: Two guys from Buffalo, NY touring the country for 31 Days straight with only twelve hours on the ground in between flights. During this marathon adventure around the US, Clark served filled two roles: Producer and Professional Photographer. He captured the epic journey as the duo traversed the country, logging over 50,000 miles in a single month. A book of photographs and stories from the trip is currently under production and will hopefully be released in Q2 2010.
Currently Clark is focusing on Corporate Event Photography and Commercial Photography. Dever believes that his experience in the corporate world and as a photojournalist gives him an edge as a Corporate Event Photographer. Clark also provides services as a Portrait Photographer in Buffalo, NY. Clark’s goal is to create photographs that capture the essence of his clients that will be handed down from generation to generation.
